My ballet training has taught me so many life lessons over the years. One of my favorite being, “the ladder to perfection.”
We, as humans, know that perfection is a physically unattainable state. Even when we draw near to perfection, we find a window for improvement…the next step on life’s ladder. Without a desire to seek improvement, we end up only sitting on the step [fixating on the achievement we once obtained], rather than climbing up to the next step in our lives. And, leaving our own personal growth behind.
Like in the technique of ballet, our state of well-being can always be re-focused on, re-shaped, and re-defined to improve our satisfaction and performance in daily living.
